What is Robotics? It is the branch of technology that deals with the design, construction, operation, and application of robots. Robotics is used in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, electronics, retail, and pharmaceutical.

Purpose/Goal: The Robotics Club will provide an out-of-school opportunity for students in grades 4-12 to participate in Robotics. These opportunities will assist students in developing skills that can be used in and outside the classroom.

Students will:
  • Develop an understanding of the basic components of robots and their uses in real-world applications
  • Program a robot (coding)
  • Run experiments and participate in challenges and competitions
  • Collaborate with others
  • Engage in problem-solving
  • Design and create robots
  • Develop interpersonal social skills while communicating with their peers about their robot.
