Robo Hounds Edison Robotics Club (Grade 4)
Meets 2nd Semester on Tuesdays from 7:30 to 8 a.m. in Mrs. DeVries Classroom

Robo Hounds First Lego League Club (Grades 5-6)
Meets 1st Semester on Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 3-4:30 p.m. in HT Room 4
Students use EV3 Lego Mindstorm Robots  First Lego League

VEX Robotics Club (Grades 7-12)

What is Robotics? It is the branch of technology that deals with the design, construction, operation, and application of robots.

Purpose/Goal: The Robotics Club will provide an out-of-school opportunity for students in grades 4-9 to participate in Robotics. Robotics is highly engaging and assists students in rapid learning in areas such as science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).

Students will:
  • Develop an understanding of the basic components of robots and their uses in real-world applications
  • Program a robot (coding)
  • Run experiments and participate in challenges
  • Collaborate with others
  • Engage in problem-solving
  • Design and create robots
